In a Bind blurb
Why was it that when everything was going right, a man got in the way?
When Cerys Thompson moved across the pond to the picturesque Pinewood Resort, she finally accomplished her dream of running a bookstore.
But that dream comes tumbling down in the shape of her landlord, the resort’s arrogant CFO—Paxton Brooks.
Paxton worked his entire life to inherit the CEO role from his father, but when the time comes to step up, he’s denied the opportunity.
Accused of not caring about the community, Paxton sets out to prove his family wrong.
Even if they might be right.
Even if it involves blackmailing a near stranger into a pretend relationship.
With the bookshop in danger of being swept out from under her, Cerys has no choice but to play the role of Paxton Brooks’s girlfriend.
Forced to tolerate each other’s company, could their growing tension blossom into something else?
Some things are for certain—Cerys won’t let the bookstore go without a fight, and Paxton always gets what he wants.
